Right Structures provided its Geo Stage for Live at the Marquee, a month-long series of gigs in Cork, Ireland, 7th June - 7th July 2012, and has subsequently won the contract for the 2013 festival.

The annual festival, organised by Aiken Promotions, attracted sell out 5,000 strong crowds each night for stars including Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Steps and Imelda May. Jessie J and Olly Murs both added an additional night last minute.

With a rigging capacity of 14 tonnes, Right Structures Geo Stage system stood at 9.5m high (from stage to roof) and 28m wide, offering ample room for artists and bands and featuring its signature curved roof. Eight riggers installed the structure within the festivals circus-style marquee, in three days with a ramp at the back for easy access for crew and equipment.

Aiken Promotions production manager John McGuigan said: "We want our audience and artists to have the best possible experience so we require a stage that is able to offer this. It's unusual having a covered stage inside but it really helps create that outside festival atmosphere and the new Geo Stage offers us the best sightlines and looks great."

Right Structures modular staging system, the Geo Stage, has been designed in order to offer a flexible, strong option for production and event managers and the system has been supplied to the festival for the past two years.

Right Structure's said: "We're delighted to be working with the Aiken team again this year. Following the recent investment we have received, Right Structures is able to offer this design-led Geo Stage structure to events of all sizes across Europe."
